A Day in the Life:

At the Isle of Raasay Distillery, we bridge the gap between the fast-paced energy of a global brand and the rugged, creative stillness of the Inner Hebrides. Our award-winning single malt whisky and gin are pioneers in their categories, crafted to break traditional barriers and redefine what a modern distillery can be.

Our family of spirits is made complete by Feragaia, Scotland’s Free Spirit 0.0% ABV. By championing a premium alcohol-free alternative, we ensure that every occasion is an inclusive one, staying true to our mission of innovation and community.

Morning: The Performance Pulse You might start your day in our Edinburgh hub, catching up with the Head of Marketing to review the performance of our latest Meta carousel for The Chinkapin. You’re looking at the data, with our Head of DTC, seeing which motion graphic stopped the scroll and which layout drove the most clicks. By 11:00 AM, you’re iterating on a new set of social assets, using After Effects to add that high-end “distillery grit” to our latest video.

Afternoon: You’re in a “blank sheet of paper” session. We’re planning the next Raasay Lassies release. You’re prototyping label designs and trade posters that need to look just as good in a whisky bar in Tokyo as they do in a luxury retailer in London. You’re acting as the brand guardian, ensuring the typography is perfect and the visual story is consistent.

The Raasay Connection: You experience Island Life once a quarter (or every day, if you choose the island-based role!), when you find yourself on Raasay. The “office” changes to a landscape of volcanic rock and Atlantic views. You’ll spend the afternoon with a camera in hand, capturing the light hitting the copper stills or the texture of a Chinkapin oak cask and photographing an upcoming whisky release. This is where you recharge your creative batteries and find the raw inspiration that fuels our global campaigns.

Benefits & Perks:

  • An employee discount on Isle of Raasay products and Feragaia
  • An employee discount on bar, food & merchandise.
  • Accommodation discount at Isle of Raasay Distillery.
  • Cycle to work / electric car / tech scheme salary sacrifice programmes.
