Since its establishment, the Isle of Raasay Distillery has brought job opportunities to the island, worked closely with other local businesses and become embedded in the island’s tight-knit community.
Part of the distillery’s ethos is to produce, mature, bottle and market every drop of spirit directly from the island. This seeks to maximise the influence of the island on the spirit, and the distillery on the island.

Incorporating the Isle of Raasay Distillery and the planned Machrihanish Distillery this role will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and management alongside our Financial Controller and for partnering with our operational and support functions across the business to build on R&B’s success to date. In September 2017, we opened our first distillery on the Isle of Raasay in the Inner Hebrides. The company was co-founded in 2014 by Scottish entrepreneurs Bill Dobbie and Alasdair Day, with the ambition of becoming Scotland’s leading artisanal distiller.
