Our distillery is the perfect venue for your upcoming private events, corporate/business group, Christmas party or wedding. Enjoy exclusive use of Borodale House, a Victorian villa transformed into a state-of-the-art whisky hotel with six ensuite rooms as part of our group hotel bookings.

With the whole place to yourself, stay overnight in the same building as a working distillery and watch the sunset over the Isle of Skye while dining in our beautiful in-house restaurant. Our team will be on hand to serve you the finest, locally sourced food and drink and ensure you have a spectacular stay on Raasay for your private event.

Guests choosing an exclusive-use package with us will enjoy access to our 6 bedroom hotel, in-house restaurant and relaxing whisky lounge on the ground floor with a fully stocked honesty bar.

We also have our 5 star visitor centre, shop, cocktail bar and restaurant available onsite all with stunning views over to the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye.

Our Food & Drinks

We are excited to announce the opening of our distillery restaurant that is exclusively available to our overnight guests including private events and group hotel bookings. We’re serving delicious locally sourced food, including Raasay-caught venison and fresh seafood from our surrounding waters. Experience a unique dining experience overlooking the best panoramic distillery views in Scotland (if we do say so ourselves). Breakfast and dinner are included in all our winter distillery stays.

It’s all yours! Enjoy a private booking and exclusive use of our Borodale House accommodation
We have 6 state of the art en-suite double rooms (up to 12 people), so it’s the perfect private event venue. We are due to expand our accommodation to 32 overnight guests over the next 2 years.

Packages Can Include:

Welcome gin and tonic, dram or local craft beer on arrival in our exclusive use guest lounge
Step behind the scenes during a production tour followed by a mouth-watering whisky, gin and chocolate tasting. Our Isle of Raasay Single Malt, single cask release and Gin are paired with handmade chocolates from the Glenshiel Chocolate Company, including a specially commissioned Isle of Raasay Single Malt infused chocolate.

Settle into your evening, starting with a pre-dinner cocktail served by the fire in the Lounge, followed by dining in our restaurant sampling fresh, locally sourced cuisine. We can offer a variety of menu styles and regularly change the menu items depending on seasonal produce. We’re happy to accommodate special food requests – please enquire ahead of booking.

Cocktail class and demonstration – learn how to make 3 signature Isle of Raasay cocktails of your choice from our in-house menu. 3 cocktails for consumption included! This experience will last approximately one hour.
Exclusive warehouse tour & tasting of our Na Sia single casks. £75 per person, Sherry Cask Session – £90.

Other casks available on request. Please note the warehouse is not included in our standard tours.

What to Do on Raasay

Plan Your Journey

Getting to the Isle of Raasay is easier than you might think. On the Isle of Skye, continue your journey to Sconser Ferry Terminal. Here, step aboard the CalMac ferry and enjoy a scenic 25-minute sailing across to Raasay.

Once you reach the Isle of Raasay, the distillery is less than half a mile from the pier and it is well-placed for exploring the island’s breathtaking natural beauty and historic sites, including the iconic Dun Caan mountain, Brochel Castle and enigmatic Calum’s Road.
