Introducing Makar’s Malt, a lightly peated dram crafted in collaboration with Scots Makar/National Poet of Scotland Jackie Kay for International Women’s Day.
This single cask, single malt bottling has been matured in one of our signature first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. Only 327 bottles are available.
Stained red on the outside, these high quality red wine casks are delivered fresh to the island from the châteaux of South West France. Expect bold flavours and fruity blackberry notes.
We are proud to be the first distillery chosen to work with The Scots Makar on an historic single cask release, complete with a specially-written poem.
