Raasay x HWF Exclusive Dunnage Warehouse Tour and Tasting – 13th September 2024

Our most exclusive  tour, specially curated for the Hebridean Whisky Festival 2024.

Immerse yourself in our world of whisky maturation and enjoy an expansive tour into our whisky production, fulfilment and maturation areas. This experience will allow you to spend dedicated time behind the scenes with one of our talented distillers and get the inside scoop about how we create our award-winning Isle of Raasay Spirits.

You’ll get a sneak peek into areas including our bottling & vatting warehouse and cask filling room, before making your way down to our dunnage maturation warehouse, nestled behind the local village of Inverarish, the inner sanctum of our whisky maturation. Our dunnage warehouse is where all of our most rare, experimental and treasured casks are kept, providing guests with fascinating insight into how time, wood, and the island’s maritime climate interact to develop the whisky’s complex flavours. You will even be able to draw spirits straight from the casks themselves, giving you a taste of Raasay whisky at various stages of its journey.

Please note this experience is only available to those aged 18 years old and over. There are times you will be outside during this tour, we recommend you come prepared for the weather and have waterproofs available.
