What Is Caskshare?
Caskshare helps democratise single cask whisky by offering shares in a cask of your choice for exclusive single cask bottlings that won’t ever be released onto the shelves.
Our bonded warehouse contains a variety of different cask types filled with both peated and unpeated spirit that are set to become part of the recipe for the first Isle of Raasay Single Malt in Scotch whisky history.
An exclusive number of our casks can be purchased whole, however, if you aren’t in a position to take on a full cask of whisky or if you are keen to try a variety of different cask types, the Caskshare platform is for you.
Commenting, Raasay Distillery Co-founder Alasdair Day said: “We believe this is an industry-first that offers the opportunity to get into the Raasay spirit by sharing a cask with others. Caskshare offers real choice with the opportunity to select bottles from our different oak and cask types, filled with unpeated or peated spirit and matured for three to twelve years.”
