We are delighted to have hosted the launch of Scotland’s newest whisky adventure, the Hebridean Whisky Trail. Karen Betts, Chief Executive of the Scotch Whisky Association, launched this spectacular 115-mile coastal route by road and sea and was joined by Anne from Torabhaig Distillery and Susan and Lesley from Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye, Simon from the Isle of Harris Distillery and of course ourselves here at the Isle of Raasay Distillery.

The Hebridean Whisky Trail Has Launched, Raasay Distillery

Hebridean Whisky

Each distillery has its own distinctive character and atmosphere. From the oldest, Talisker, founded in 1830, to the youngest on Raasay, opened in 2017. Most importantly all four have unique stories and approaches to the craft of making whisky. The Hebridean Whisky Trail offers whisky enthusiasts and touring visitors another reason to visit the Hebrides and sample our new golden ‘road to the isles’.
