Tobar an Dualchais Afternoon of Stories and Songs – 2nd February 2019

Raasay Distillery are honoured to be hosting Tobar An Dualchais, a project which has been set up to preserve, digitise, and archive valuable Gaelic and Scots recordings. Much of this material consists of recordings of folklore, songs and music, local history and other data gathered from the 1930s onwards.

On February 2nd, we’ll be hosting Tobar An Dualchais in our Gathering Room, where a selection of material and recordings from Raasay will be played. Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon, and we’d encourage anyone who wishes to hear the recordings or share their own stories to come along.

TICKETS: Free to attend, no ticket required.
