They say that the number of day trips to Raasay has increased since the distillery opened. Proving the intangible draw that such places have on the tourist masses. This one is a brand new, clean and professional operation. It is making whiskey – but nothing for sale for several years yet. Instead it offers tastings of a whiskey made elsewhere but to the individual specifications of Isle of Raasay. With the intention of creating an approximation of what the local drop will one day be.
