Nestled behind our local village, Inverarish, lives our dunnage cask maturing warehouse. Surrounded by an abundance of premium oak casks from around the world, you will be able to enjoy an exclusive tasting of Isle Of Raasay peated and unpeated Na Sia (“The Six” in Gaelic) spirit, straight from the cask!
Our signature cask lineup includes rye whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak, and Bordeaux red wine. These Na Sia recipe casks are allowed to mature as individuals for the full three years before marrying together to form our Signature Single Malt Scottish Whisky, ensuring a depth of flavour and balance that makes our young spirit so distinct.
Starting in our tasting room, you will be shown through the distillery by one of our tour guides, before being accompanied by a distiller to the dunnage warehouse to deep dive into each cask and a tasting of 6 x 15ml cask strength whiskies.
Duration: 120-150 minutes

Tour guide was excellent – passionate about the distillery and very knowledgeable about what they are doing there. Fascinating tasting examples of the component casks, some were very different to some of the bottled releases / samples I’ve tried before from Raasay. The 4yr un-peated rye cask that we tried was pretty incredible. Some very interesting casks lurking in the warehouse – interesting things to come. Must admit, being driven to and from the warehouse in a liveried Landrover was a really, really nice touch too. Finishing off the samples at a table out at the front of the distillery with the views and a touch of sun rounded it off beautifully.
