The Raasay Lassies release is back for its third year, coinciding with International Women’s Day, to celebrate the outstanding women in our team. This time, chosen by the wonderful Chloe Leeman, our Island Experience Manager, who has been the driving force behind our guest experience, since we opened our doors.
This rare release is an unpeated ex rye cask finished in an ex madeira wine octave, holding 60L. Therefore, Chloe has selected 3 of these casks to be bottled for the Raasay Lassies, as we know this release is a fan favourite. Each has a label featuring a poppy illustration, designed and printed on Raasay, and chosen by Chloe in dedication to her granny.
The expected yield for each cask is 70-80 bottles.
Cask no 2024/1033 has 75 bottles at natural cask strength of 58.2% abv. (SOLD OUT)

Every drop of Isle of Raasay spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Raasay. This particular expression’s bespoke label was also designed and printed on Raasay, and features an illustration of a Poppy in dedication to Chloe’s granny.
Unpeated Raasay spirit, has been matured first in an ex American rye cask, then finished in a 60L ex Madeira wine octave. Bottled at natural cask strength of 58.2%, this release delivers a beautifully balanced experience.
On the nose, expect a burst of orange, with hints of clove and apple. The palate is mellow yet rich, where lot’s of vanilla, toffee and burnt fudge linger with a sultana sweetness. The finish is light, silky and with a complimentary heat that leaves you wanting more.
